The date for the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2022 has been released in the midst of Sri Lanka faces off against Afghanistan in the opening game on August 27.

Pakistan’s game in the match against India takes place in the second game in the series on the 28th of August in the group A match.

In the 13 matches that will be played, three of them will be held in Sharjah and the remaining games will be played in Dubai.

UAE, Kuwait, Singapore as well as Hong Kong will all play in a qualifying round. The winner of this qualifying round will be added to the other five teams , namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

These six squads are separated into two groups. Group A comprises India, Pakistan, and the qualifying team, whereas Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are included in Group B.
